One of our clients based in Somerset is searching for a pragmatic BI Analyst/Developer Manager capable of showing a commercial understanding of his missions as a real problem solver.
As a core member of the customer analytics team, you will have a key role within the company. As such, your missions will be varied and you would be expected to have an enquiring mind and independent thinking to provide data insights to senior decision makers across all branches of the company.
You will improve the products and support the business solutions with your insights in relation to customer acquisition, behaviour and purchase patterns. Leading a team of analysts, on one side you will get to be hands-on and on the other plan your team's workload and inspire them.
Large external and internal data sets will be at your disposal to identify opportunities, trends & patterns in order to enhance customer satisfaction & retention, revenue and ultimately grow the business.
Development, analysis, evaluations, segmentation, insights predictive analytics & data model building and your approach will vary when suitable.
- Proficiency with SQL to retrieve the data directly off the customer database.
- Proficiency with a data visualisation tool such as SSRS, Tableau, Spotfire, Qlik...
Desirable Skill set:
- Proficiency with R or Python
On the personal side, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership, a continuous improvement mentality, be sociable and communicative.
You must be able to gather requirements and ask the right questions, which naturally involves building relationships with stakeholders as you try to help them make the best decisions by solving their problems.
