Your profile
You have more than 5 years experience in data engineering and would entertain the idea of working in an innovative environment. You would be a valuable addition to a team of talented technologists and would love to have interactions with data scientists within the company.
The role
You will have the opportunity to work on complex data engineering problems with large data sets. The team is keen to hear about your approach to testing and evaluation of a data pipeline and the advice you would give to other engineers about writing high performance python code.
We seeks for a smart individual to join the AI & Algorithms team as a Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer. You would have the chance to work closely with awesome data scientists to transform the customer experience through clever use of Machine Learning. Indeed, working with them will ensure that the algorithms are scalable, maintainable and robust.
The role will include to design and build batch and real-time data pipelines and microservices on our client's industry-leading data platform, in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS (Amazon Web Services); but also to build, deploy and operate algorithms in production. You will also be working on test automation for data pipelines, Continuous Integration and TDD coding practices.
You profile ideally looks like this:
- Experience working in data engineering
- Strong SQL skills
- Good working knowledge of Python
- Experience interacting with data scientist teams
