A market leading IoT business in Cambridge are looking to increase their Electronics Design offering by bringing on board a junior - mid level design engineer who has a passion for development and an interest in low level hardware and software design.
The company builds Embedded IoT platforms on a consultancy basis, as well as developing "off the shelf" IoT platform products. Currently their centre of excellence for R&D is centred in Cambridge but they have multinational offices that can bring in projects of all types within IoT.
As a result of recent success' they are looking at succession planning within the organisation and, being heavily focussed on development of staff, they are looking to bring someone in that has a genuine passion for Electronics Design who is looking for a move into High-Speed Electronics.
Main Function: Lifecycle product design for custom built boards.
Preferred Qualifications / Experiences
-Degree level qualification in an electronic design related subject
-Be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy with an eye for detail
-Proven report writing skills
-High degree of numeracy
-Knowledge of programmable logic devices (CPLD and FPGA) both hardware implementation and programming.
-Experience of programming (C,C++, Linux/Unix, Visual C++, and Visual Basic)
-PC literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Cadence ORCAD/Allegro or similar design tool
