Location - Great Location in London near London Bridge, Southwark and Waterloo stations
Role - Senior Developer
Salary - £55,000 to £65,000
Are you interested in FinTech and want to learn the industry?
Like to challenge yourself by working on multiple projects in different technologies?
If so, come speak with this FinTech software provider based in London - near London Bridge, Southwark and Waterloo stations.
This company has around 30 employees, with 8 of those being in the development team, which is planned to grow to 10 over the next couple of months. This means for you that you'll be working in a truly tight knit company, where you can have access to the owners and management team, and learn a lot.
The owners of the business have been developing software for some of the UKs most prestigious hedge funds and financial service providers for the last 20 years - they've forgotten more about FinTech than what most people know, so you've got some great mentors here.
You will have a crucial role in the development team - namely, to architecturally design and build the IT systems that are needed to support the growing business and trading platforms.
It's very much a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment that will see you become influential in the analysis, design, development, and ongoing maintenance of these class leading platforms, whilst liaising with business teams, vendors and platforms.
This means you'll be heavily involved in key decisions across the company, elevating your career potential later down the line!
To hit the ground running, they are looking for the following experience:
C# .Net, with proven experience working on server-side multi-threaded systems
Knowledge/experience of designing greenfield application architecture
Knowledge of web technologies & frameworks: HTML5, Asp.Net, AngularJS, Typescript
Proficiency with Entity Framework
If you have the below skills, it would be an advantage, but they are happy to train you if needed:
REST API Development
Experience of a cloud platform such as AWS or Azure
UI / UX & best practices
However, even if you don't quite match all of that they would still like to have a conversation with you, as it's not all about your technical ability, your appetite to learn and attitude is just as important!
The salary for the role is between £55,000 to £65,000 plus benefits.
