IO Associates are looking to recruit an experienced IT Service Manager to support the Service Management function for a fantastic FS organisation in Guildford.

You will be working as part of an experienced and evolving Service Management team that is very customer focused, ambitious and ever expanding. The successful candidate will own the Major Incident process carrying a significant responsibility for the management as well as the delivery of strategic objectives that contribute to the role and teams ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities
·Responsible for definition of the process (Major Incident) in line with industry standards, ITIL guidelines and best practices across leading operating frameworks.
·Responsible for communication of the process to all IT staff and appropriate business areas.
·Responsible for the governance of the process and overall adherence to it.
·Manages the risks associated with the operating of the process, by identifying risk, implementing mitigating actions and controls and reducing the impact and likelihood.
·Responsible for continuous improvement and management of the process.
·Participates in service review meetings with 3rd party suppliers where needed.
·Cover for other service managers to provide a continuous continuity of service
·Provide 24/7 incident support management as per duty incident manager rota.

Experience
·Experience of working in a well-regulated business is essential
·A strong understanding of IT Major Incident management activities
·ITIL v3 Foundation Qualification is essential
·Experience of working in or the implementation of ITIL v3 practices is highly desirable or other formal frameworks.
·Experience of working with Agile / dev ops delivery methodology is desirable
·An appreciation of varying technologies and current market trends in technology is advantageous as this role as it will interact with varying teams from hosted/ cloud Infrastructure to front end consumer applications, and ecommerce platforms.
·Experience of working with outsources/ strategic partners are essential.
·Strong management information and analysis experience is essential
