PMO Team Lead
Salary: £40-50k per annum
iO Associates are looking for a PMO Team Lead to join a team based in Bristol.
·As PMO Team Lead you will be responsible for the support of the PMO/Regional PMO Manager by ensuring the following:
·The PMO Services are delivered in a way that supports the account or programme key stakeholders in their primary delivery objectives.
·Providing Line Management for the allocated teams
·Relevant policies and procedures e.g. holiday booking, time bookings, absence management are applied consistently across Project Support Services
·Issues and concerns and advised and/or escalated appropriately and in a timely way with your line manager
·Maintain effective stakeholder management relationships with your internal and external clients, colleagues and 3rd parties through timely and effective communications, including action to resolve issues or progress opportunities
·Ensure the team are cross-skilled to enable absence cover and succession plans are in place and maintained
·A forward plan (workmap/calendar) of task and duties for the team is regularly maintained and published
·Regular development/maintenance of PMO processes and supporting documents for the assigned PMO Services
·On behalf of the Service Delivery Manager/Regional/PMO Manager you will ensure that the governance and reporting processes are maintained.
·Production of MI and reporting packs for formal and informal joint and internal governance meetings, including ensuring review and sign-off for all relevant stakeholders (including Service Delivery Manager/PMO Manager ) prior to issue for the meetings
·Provide appropriate review and challenge to internal and external stakeholders, including identification and timely resolution or escalation of risks and issues
·Support the PMO Services Continuous Improvement programme by providing innovative and creative ideas for change/recommendations in terms of PMO methods, processes and procedures and service delivery.
·Coach/mentor and train team members
What do we require from you?
·We need a PMO with a detailed understanding of PMO Services and ideally an understanding of/or experience as a Project Manager or Business Change Manager.
·Awareness of the end-to-end life cycle of Business Change / IT development programmes and projects.
·Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills
·Strong customer service focus
·Proven ability to manage effective stakeholder relationships to senior management level and experience working in an internal and external client and service delivery environment
·Strong networking skills with an ability to develop and maintain a wide network of contacts within the business areas and IT
·A good working knowledge of the Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
·Strong experience of working in any of the following: Programme Office, Project Office, Programme Support, Programme Administration, Project Administration or similar.
