iO Associates have just registered a new opportunity for a permanent Avaya Voice Engineer required for an exciting and growing organisation in London. This is a new position within the growing Avaya team and will offer you the opportunity to work with exciting and market leading clients.
Working as the lead of a small team of Avaya Engineers you will be involved in project based work on client site, mainly around the London area. Projects differ client to client but the Avaya Engineers can be involved in roll-outs, migrations, integrations, upgrades, implementations, along with BAU support. This is a client facing role and so the Lead Avaya Engineer will be working with senior stakeholders in large, corporate environments, using their communication skills to inform clients of progress.
·Implementing best practice processes for BAU and Change Management
·Control of Pipeline for Team Projects
·Budget control for Telco Estate and Providers
·Creating a quarterly patching and system review to forecast licensing and bug fixes
·Skill set reviews of team and individual training plans
·At least 5 years' experience of Avaya contact centre technologies
·Computer Telephone integration
·Telephony migration experience
·Excellent communication skills and the ability to be client facing, representing the company well
·Ability to multi-task, with a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail
·Demonstrable technical ability in order to contribute to the design, integration and support of Telephony Infrastructure
·High-level design of solutions
·A basic understanding of networking up to CCNA level (open to progress the basic cisco networking courses if not currently holding a CCNA)
·A bright self-starter with an excellent attitude towards work
