As the Systems Administrator you will be part of the Operations team you would be responsible for the day to day running of the IT systems, ensuring they are available, have good system health and are secure.
What will the position entail?
·Manage a case load of service incidents and standard change requests
·Oversee the equipment provision utilising third party contractors where appropriate
·Supervising the Change Management process and performing routine inspections
·Create and maintain operational and support documentation for newly implemented or upgraded services.
·Pro-actively contribute to the continual development of procedures to improve working practices and the services offered to customers and contribute to the development of the existing systems.
What do we need from you?
·Experience and knowledge of monitoring systems and remote management systems
·Experience and knowledge of windows and or Linux administration
·Experience and knowledge of administration and documentation practices, specialist work systems and processes relevant to the role and the work area.
·A good awareness of (and interest in) current and future trends within IT.
·Adaptability / Flexibility
·Customer/Client service and support
·Planning and Organising
