Account Manager - Embedded Technology - IOT - Bristol - £55,000 basic - OTE = £80,000+
A successful start-up has recently merged with a global software house, and are seeking a talented Account Manager to sell the capabilities of the Bristol office.
This post will involve some new business whilst leveraging existing accounts and retaining any new accounts you win. You'll report into the CSO whilst working closely with technical members of staff and the office manager to adequately portray and sell their niche software capabilities.
You'll have really hot accounts that you can easily pick up from day one. As these tick over you'll be given warm accounts that will require some leveraging. In addition to that you'll have the opportunity of the whole UK to follow up on leads and create the next 'gold' client for your new employer.
The focus on your role will be to intensify the new branding and name throughout the UK whilst selling the offering. As the UK sales head, you'll really get to own this role and make it your own with great career potential for future development - especially as the headcount is expected to double over the next 18 months!
* Demonstrable Sales Record
* In-depth knowledge of embedded technology
* Strategic account management in B2B/B2C area within technological products (hardware & Software)
* Great Networking background
* Ability to work with marketing to arrange lunches, conferences and presentations
