iO Associates are supporting The Gen Dit Network!

iO Associates’ Lead Consultant CJ Adams has created a video in support of the Gen Dit Network, which is a veteran-run group on LinkedIn dedicated to helping Service Personnel that are leaving the military.

CJ continues:

‘As someone that recently went through the military resettlement process, I offered to share my story and any tips that I learned along the way. Combined with the fact that I am now a Recruitment Consultant, and I can help veterans and service leavers find new jobs, I thought it would make sense to put together a video giving some advice to anyone that needs it. My main aim is to prevent anyone from going through what I did: choosing the wrong job and having to go through the entire process of finding another job all over again.

It's great to show the community that there are great companies out there like iO Associates that truly respect veterans and the defence community. Their signing of the Armed Forces Covenant and dedication to charity fundraising for Walking with the Wounded demonstrates how willing they are to give back to the Defence sector.’

As iO is heavily embedded in the Defence community, we are thrilled that we can show our support to organisations, such as The Gen Dit Network, through the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant. Furthermore, as our first act toward our Armed Forces Covenant pledge, iO Associates are excited to be Walking with the Wounded as our first major charity event of the year. Ten members of the iO Associates team will be walking 100k steps each in one day to raise money for the cause totalling a huge one million steps across the board, providing vital support for our veterans.
