C++ Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Windows C++/QML Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a challenging project and contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications for Medical industry

Role: Windows C++ Developer

Contract: Outside IR35

Duration: 3-6 months

Location: Remote

Rate: up to £45/55 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain advanced applications using C++ and QML, adhering to industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate effectively within the development team, participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
• Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes, proposing innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of software development experience within a regulated industry.
• Expert proficiency in C++ programming and a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
• Extensive experience in developing user interfaces using QML, with a strong understanding of Qt framework and Qt Quick.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with transferring designs from Figma or similar tools to QML.
