Plymouth - Onsite ONCE every month.
12 Months contract - Likely to extend.

A prominent force in Defence, Nuclear, Marine industries is looking for a Civil Engineer - External Works. With a legacy of expertise and a forward-thinking approach, this distinguished company continues setting new standards for success and sustainability as a leader in diverse industries.

As a CIVIL ENGINEER, you'll work with multi-discipline infrastructure system designs to provide an overall sustainment capability. You will be providing technical design guidance and review of civil design packages. Ensure that staff and contractors are familiar with the hazards and risks associated.

Key Responsibilities

Detailed design assurance, make sure that the designs received meets the requirements - Coordinating the designs from multiple design houses.
Manage engineering processes - deal with internal stakeholders.
Lots of documentation, procedural (about 50%)

Skills Required

Good understand of surface water drainage, highways design and alignment.
Understands and designs modern surface water design, how do you build one.
Utilities, master planning and coordination.
