Commercial Manager

Location: Woking (2 days a week on-site)

Day rate: £500 - £600pd (Inside IR35)

Length: 3 - 6 months

One of our established clients are looking for a Commercial Manager to join them on a contract basis

Founded over 70 years ago, they're a British centre of excellence for world-class innovation and engineering. They're expertise in Defence but as the decades of innovation have rolled on they expanded into the National Security and Public Sector.

Their innovations can be found all over the world. From computer vision that powered the world's first autonomous landing of a drone at sea; to AI systems that drastically reduce aircraft turnaround times

You will be responsible for providing contractual, financial and business risk management, from tendering to contract acceptance and in-service contract management.

They are looking for you to have experience in the following:

• Existing knowledge of UK Government or Ministry of Defence contracting frameworks and mechanisms would also be an advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and conditions of doing business, with the ability to review and negotiate a variety of contract types, including large UK Government framework contracts.
• Ability to draft, negotiate and implement contracts and change requests with excellent attention to detail.
• Competent in the fields of contractual costing and financial planning, contractual risk management and contract negotiation.
