Cost Estimator

Location: Loncin, Liège region (Onsite)
Type: 6-Month Contract (On going contract)

We are supporting a leading industrial group in their search for a Cost Estimator to strengthen their team. If you enjoy working in a technically advanced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in cross-functional collaboration, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Your Role:

  • Analyse project specifications and technical documentation to identify key cost drivers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (technical and commercial teams) to gather necessary data and insights.
  • Prepare accurate cost and price calculations, including margin analysis.
  • Propose and implement optimisations to reduce costs without compromising quality.
  • Assist in the preparation, validation, and refinement of quotations and bids.
  • Build and maintain a reference database for cost standards (materials, equipment, labour, production times, tooling, etc.).
  • Draw upon past costings, supplier information, and internal reports to support pricing activities.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum BAC+3) in a technical or industrial discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial, technical, or cost estimation environment.
  • Knowledge or experience in purchasing is a plus.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Organised, analytical, and methodical, with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.
  • Team player with a customer-oriented approach and strong resilience under pressure.
