Cost Estimator

Location: Loncin, Liège region (Onsite)
Type: 6-Month Contract (On going contract)

We are supporting a leading industrial group in their search for a Cost Estimator to strengthen their team. If you enjoy working in a technically advanced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in cross-functional collaboration, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Your Role:

Analyse project specifications and technical documentation to identify key cost drivers.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (technical and commercial teams) to gather necessary data and insights.
Prepare accurate cost and price calculations, including margin analysis.
Propose and implement optimisations to reduce costs without compromising quality.
Assist in the preparation, validation, and refinement of quotations and bids.
Build and maintain a reference database for cost standards (materials, equipment, labour, production times, tooling, etc.).
Draw upon past costings, supplier information, and internal reports to support pricing activities.

Your Profile:

Bachelor's degree (minimum BAC+3) in a technical or industrial discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial, technical, or cost estimation environment.
Knowledge or experience in purchasing is a plus.
Strong command of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
Organised, analytical, and methodical, with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.
Team player with a customer-oriented approach and strong resilience under pressure.
