IO Associates is looking for a talented and driven Cost Manager to support our ambitious growth plans. In this role, you will collaborate with leading clients, overseeing the cost management of significant capital projects and programs. You'll be part of a dedicated team known for its expertise, innovation, and commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of cost management across the project lifecycle, from inception to completion.
- Provide accurate cost planning, feasibility estimates, contract procurement, and tender documentation.
- Implement value engineering and ensure commercial awareness throughout projects.
- Handle post-contract management including cost reporting and agreement of final accounts.
- Manage risks effectively and contribute to dispute resolution when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with senior management, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Experience in cost/commercial management within integrated, collaborative teams.
- Previous involvement in client organizations or secondment arrangements is advantageous.
- Ideally degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with Chartered status preferred.
- Accredited MRICS or working towards membership.
