Role Overview:

As a Data Engineer for the Police Department, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the systems and processes that allow the department to leverage data effectively. Your work will enable police officers and analysts to make data-driven decisions to enhance public safety, improve operational efficiency, and support investigative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise ETL processes for large-scale data integration.

Requirements:

  • Experience with ETL tools and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and reporting.
  • Understanding of data security practices and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
