DevSecOps Engineer
Salary: Up to £95,000 subject to experience
Location: Hybrid, UK - 1 day a month from multiple locations across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire & Surrey
Hours: 40 per week - flexible working patterns
Security Clearance needed to start (Sole British Nationals only due to sensitive UK eyes only nature of the projects)

I have an opportunity to be a part of a well-established but intimate tech company focusing on the future of Cyber & Cloud. Working in both the public & private sector, they are working with a diverse list of clients on many beyond interesting projects.
The role: You will be taking the lead in designing, developing and maintaining large microservice based systems on AWS or Azure cloud based systems, as part of a growing team. Allowing you the chance to mentor less experienced members, whilst also working with stake holders - both helping shape the future of the business.
Responsibilities - You will be taking full responsibility for the full lifecycle of product components and systems by:
- Participating in technical discussions with your teams and supporting delivery management and technical leads in their engagement with customers.
- Use a mixture of technical investigation, rapid prototyping, software design, wire-framing and other techniques to find innovative solutions to engineering problems that help inform our future strategy.
- Bring an innovative mindset to problems.
- Engage with customers for all aspects of the projects
- Where applicable make and collaborate on technological and architectural designs relating to your software products, communicating them to your team(s) and customers.
- Collaborate with other technologists and teams to help improve product integration
- Establish and evolve development tools and processes, and ways of working within your team to continuously improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., through automation, CI/CD, etc).
Requirements - You will have the ability to create software to solve business problems for clients, with experience in the following:
- Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with strong Terraform & Ansible knowledge
- AWS or Azure Engineering - Compute, Network, Storage,
- Automation & Integration of security
- Experience of working with Continuous Integration (CI) & Continuous Delivery (CD)
- Working within an Agile environment
Desirables - You will have experience in:
- Programming with one of the following - Java, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS
- Containerisation technologies
- Microservice design patterns
- SOLID principles
