iO Associates have partnered with a well-established Food Manufacturer in the look for a EHS Senior Specialist. This role will be based out of their Manchester site, with additional travel to two other sites.

Role Overview:

As an EHS Senior Specialist, you will oversee Environmental Health and Safety practices across three manufacturing sites. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with safety regulations, promote a culture of safety, and implement best practices in our general manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce EHS standards across three sites.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement EHS training programs for employees.
  • Collaborate with site managers to improve safety protocols.
  • Monitor the Safety Champions of each site
  • Safety Management Systems

You will need:

  • A recognized Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Cert, IOSH).
  • 3+ years' experience in an EHS role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 is desirable
  • Right to work in the UK
