Electrical & Avionics Compliance Verification Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Avionics Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) to enhance our CVE team within the Office of Airworthiness. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical system installations and products comply with the relevant regulations and standards. As a CVE, you will be an integral part of our well-established Office of Airworthiness within an EASA Part 21J Design Organisation, focusing primarily on CS 25 Large Aeroplanes. You will work closely with the engineering team across a diverse range of design activities, including VIP completions, refurbishments, modifications, upgrades, defence, and special mission projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance & Design Verification
- Classify design changes in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Conduct detailed reviews of electrical systems, designs, and specifications to ensure compliance.
- Verify and approve engineering documentation, test plans, analysis, and other certification documents.
- Prepare and oversee certification programmes.
Regulatory & Project Coordination
- Act as the Office of Airworthiness focal point for STC projects, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with EASA and other regulatory agencies.
- Execute ground and flight test CVE witnessing, including conformity assessments.
- Participate in Flight Test Hazard Assessments and Safety Review Board meetings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
- Provide technical guidance and compliance advice to the engineering team.
- Work closely with quality, programme management, production, installation, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance is embedded into the design process.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Coach and mentor Design Organisation staff.
- Assist the Office of Airworthiness in developing procedures to maintain Design Organisation Approvals.
Continuous Development & Expertise
- Stay updated on EASA regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Advise on subcontractor qualifications as a Subject Matter Expert.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Design Organisation.
- Proven experience as an EASA CVE in electrical systems.
- Expertise in EASA CS 25 regulations and electrical system compliance.
- Experience with minor and major design changes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, take initiative, and lead projects.
- Experience as Project Certification Manager or Lead CVE on STC projects.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); French or German is a plus.
