Flight Test Engineer

Location: Munich Germany

Duration: 6 month contract (possible extension)

Are you an experienced engineer with a strong background in aircraft propulsion systems and flight testing? Join a dynamic team at the forefront of aviation innovation! We are looking for a Flight Test Engineering Integrator to support test activities, ensuring seamless integration of propulsion systems in flight and ground test environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as an Engineering Integrator in the propulsion systems domain, supporting test activities (Integration & Flight Test).
Prepare and release test aircraft limitations, restrictions, and load sheets.
Review Job Orders for test aircraft installations.
Assist engineering teams with test requirements and test plans, ensuring a clear understanding of prerequisites and instrumentation.
Take ownership of the flight test schedule to meet key milestones.
Brief flight crews on aircraft systems and modifications.
Support Test Hazard Assessments, providing expertise and expected results.

Required Qualifications:

Engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Aircraft Design.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a flight test environment.
In-depth knowledge of Aircraft Systems (Propulsion).
Experience with Part 33 and Part 25 certification requirements.
Proven hands-on experience in flight test operations.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

Programming experience in Python or similar languages.
Experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Structured, results-driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluency in English (written & oral).
