We are seeking a IT Service Manager can help us on a long term contract/b2b assignment working for a large Energy Company, who are based in Germany.

You can be located Europe-wide, have fluent English skills, your responsibilities include service monitoring and coordinating / resolving system issues, reactive and proactive communication of service degradation or outages, change management , solving and dispatching incidents to T3 product lines.

You need to have experience with IT performance management, resources administration, security and service continuity

Remote - with a 3 day block onsite per month in Berlin
Rate - is open
Availability: to start in October, no later than November
Duration: 3 months rolling for 12-18 months

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years experience in leading an IT-operations T2 in an infrastructure environment with critical high availability requirements (e.g Energy, Telco, banking or similar)
Minimum of 3 years experience in leading teams with more than 10 people
Very good knowledge of IT operations processes
Very good knowledge of ITIL
Minimum of 5 years experience with infrastructure and cloud technologies i.e.:
- Datacenter
- Networking (WAN, LAN, Routers, Firewalls,
- Compute (Dell, HP)
- Storage (NFS, Object)
- Virtualization (Network, Compute, Storage)
- Kubernetes
- Cloud
- Cloud native applications
