NetApp Engineer

We are seeking a NetApp Storage Engineer that help us on a long term contract/b2b assignment working for a large Energy Company, who are based in Germany.

You can be located Europe-wide, have fluent English skills

Remote - with a 3 day block onsite per month in Berlin

Rate - is open 55-70€ per hour

Availability: November Start

Duration: 3 months rolling for 12-18 months

Duties:

• Have 5 recent years working a storage engineer. Knowing the entire life cycle of installation, operation, backup, recovery and de-commissioning.
• The individual should be able to clearly communicate with peers and architects about the ideas, the designs, and document in a professional readable manner including diagrams.
• Problem analysis and resolution competencies needed. The Role will be responsible to deliver and administrate storage on dedicated hardware, similar knowledge is a must have requirement.

Experience:

• Very good expertise in storage technologies such as object, block and file storage.
• Good experience to NetApp topics such as ONTAP, OnCommand, SVMs, NFS, ISCI and S3
• Experience with storage system performance analysis troubleshooting & resolution of complex problems.
• Integration of Netapp into observability.
• Planning and performing update and upgrade scenarios for the above technologies.
• Understanding fundamental LAN and WAN technologies in a Datacenter.
• Experience to use Jira, Confluence and Miro.
