A large-scale technology refresh programme within the defence sector is seeking an experienced Platform Solution Architect to take the lead on designing and delivering complex platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
🔧 Lead architectural design, configuration, and implementation of platform solutions
📄 Draft detailed technical statements of requirements
🧩 Define and assess architectures and business requirements
📐 Produce high and low-level designs, including operating models
☁️ Work across private and public cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
👥 Provide technical guidance to delivery teams and customers
📦 Ensure Agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban) are applied effectively

Ideal Candidate Profile:
✅ Strong experience delivering Enterprise IT systems within the UK defence sector
✅ Skilled in platform architecture and cloud-native solution design
✅ Proficient in creating technical documentation and architectural artifacts
✅ Excellent stakeholder management and technical assurance skills
✅ Must be a UK national with SC or DV clearance (or eligible with 5+ years UK residency)
