Project Manager

Overview
As Project Manager, you take over responsibility and coordination for customer projects. The project scope varies from compact signal-conditioning solutions to complex turn-key rack systems for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, tailored to customer specific requirements. In this position, you manage projects from the initialization phase to the delivery of the final system and are responsible for the planning, supervision and reporting of the progress and budget. You closely collaborate with internal teams in sales, engineering, production, testing and development. Further you act as main contact for customers during the pre-sales phase, project execution and as well after delivery to maintain customer retention and enable business growth from key accounts.
Key Tasks
- Multi-project management
- Main responsibility for project budget and timeline
- Resource planning and capacity coordination to meet milestone deadlines
- Supervise and coordinate project implementation across departments, partners and customers
- Communication of project updates and delays to internal teams and customers
- Participation in Sprint prioritization, planning and updating meetings
- Organizing project kick-off, update and close-out meetings with customers
- Creation and maintenance of project plans in project management tools
- Order-handling in internal ERP and managing component purchasing plans
- Responsible for project controlling and reporting: Calculating KPIs, creating and maintaining reports about project timelines and financials
Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline combined with a business administration or project management degree
- Two years of professional work experience in a customer-facing project management role in a high-tech company of a similar industry
- High awareness of quality, budget and time constraints in complex projects
- Strong team player and proactive, flexible and responsible personality
- High level of social competence and assertiveness
- Independent and self-organizing working style
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Experience and knowledge in process automation tools is advantageous
- Project management certification is a plus
- Valid work permit and residence in Switzerland
