Your Role: Quality Engineer
As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the successful transfer and execution of new technology to their partners. This is a chance to make an impact while working in an environment that values your expertise and ideas.
What You'll Do:
- Lead 8D investigations, driving root cause analysis and resolution.
- Champion New Product Introduction (NPI) using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Support partners with supplier technical issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure the seamless transfer of products and processes.
- Analyse non-conformances, implementing corrective/preventive actions using tools like Ishikawa or Red X.
- Contribute to company-wide quality reporting and performance tracking.
What They are Looking For:
- Proven experience in busy manufacturing and quality engineering roles.
- Expertise in 8D problem-solving tools and techniques.
- Background in Advanced Quality Planning (APQP) and customer interaction.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, SPC, Gauge R&R, and ISO9001/TS16949 systems.
- Technical proficiency in statistical tools like Minitab and statistical process control methods.
- Degree in engineering or related discipline preferred (HNC with additional experience also considered).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong presentation and coaching skills.
