RADAR MECHATRONICS TECHNICIAN

FLIGHT MONITORING SYSTEMS

You will be working with the Radar & Air Communications Systems division in Zurich, supporting the Swiss Army in military airspace surveillance. This is a great opportunity to make a contribution to the security of military reconnaissance systems.

We support and accompany our customers on a long term basis from the idea and throughout the entire life cycle of the systems.

Your Role:

Conduct independent repair and testing of intricate electronic and mechanical assemblies.
Perform inspections and maintenance on subsystems within TAFLIR and MALS radar systems.
Undertake service assignments at customer sites across Switzerland.
Collaborate with the TAFLIR Wangenerberg radar station team to ensure technical operations.
Manage technical processes, including documentation and material handling.

Your Qualifications:

Electronics technician qualification or equivalent training.
Preferred: Higher technical school degree in electronics.
Excellent German and English language skills (B1 level or higher). French language skills are beneficial.
A collaborative and adaptable mindset.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout Switzerland.
Swiss OR EU citizenship.
