SAP Programme Manager (contract) role - Hybrid - IR35 outside

6 month+ contract
1 to 2 days per week on-site in London

My client operates at the intersection of technology and law, in an industry that demands agility and innovation. The team is dedicated to developing advanced solutions for legal professionals.

The daily work will involve tackling intricate challenges, providing reliable, efficient, and smart solutions for legal experts across the globe.

I am seeking a highly skilled SAP Programme Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the implementation projects. You will have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects and in-depth knowledge of SAP's proprietary project management methodology Activate.
This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead SAP projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring successful delivery against project objectives and timelines.
• Strategy and Planning: Develop, implement and monitor project plans that align with the strategic goals of our customers and our commitments, managing project scope, schedule, and governance.
• Team Management: Manage, mentor, and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring professional development of team members.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication regarding project status, risks, and issues.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks and dependencies, developing mitigation and contingency plans to ensure project resilience.
• Governance Assurance:** Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements, ensuring that correct governance is met in line with project timescales.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in managing SAP projects.
• Certifications: Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable. SAP certifications are a plus.
