Are you an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge space technology? Our client is hiring a Satellite AIT Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Stevenage. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to space missions, working on satellite assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Your Role:

✔️ Prepare test procedures and write/debug test sequences for spacecraft system testing.

✔️ Execute and support spacecraft testing during ambient and environmental test campaigns.

✔️ Provide first-line support for test operations and troubleshoot technical issues.

✔️ Develop and debug Automatic Test Procedures (ATP) using high-level software languages (Elisa, Java)

What We're Looking For:

🔹 Hands-on experience writing test scripts for spacecraft systems using a Central Checkout System (CCS).

🔹 Strong understanding of spacecraft systems & subsystems (Data Handling, 1553 MilBus, Spacewire, Power Systems, FDIR, Thermal Control).

🔹 Proficiency in Linux/Unix bash scripting and familiarity with programming languages such as C, Python, or TCL is beneficial.

🔹 Experience using electrical test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, Data Acquisition Units).
