Join an innovative team working on a greenfield mobile communications application designed for secure data transmission, messaging, voice calling, and media streaming.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to build and deploy a native Android application that handles telephony, media streaming, and multi-source data integration. You will work closely with an established iOS Developer, UX designers, and backend engineers to create a high-performing and scalable solution. The role requires strong Android development experience, knowledge of deployment pipelines, and the ability to work in a collaborative, small-team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain native Android applications (no cross-platform frameworks).
Implement telephony, voice calling, and video/media streaming features using sockets.
Set up development environments and manage the technical side of the Google Play Store submission process.
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and optimize app performance.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure smooth project delivery.
Document solutions and maintain high coding standards and security practices.
Play an integral role in a small, fast-moving team, contributing ideas and problem-solving.

Required Skills:

Strong native Android development experience.
Proven experience with building and deploying Android apps.
Knowledge of deployment pipelines and the Google Play Store submission process.
Understanding of frontend UI development (backend API knowledge is a plus).
Experience working in small teams and taking ownership of projects.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Package & Benefits:

£60,000 - £70,000 base salary.
