A leading provider of embedded systems used widely across the travel industry in the UK, are looking for a strong Azure DevOps Engineer to take over all DevOps responsibilities from the current engineer who is stepping into a full time management position.

As the Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the Azure environment, whilst supporting the global development team where possible. Your main focus will be to create and maintain IaC with Bicep & take an SRE approach in monitoring system health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the Azure infrastructure & implement improvements
• Create and maintain IaC using Bicep
• Design & deploy containers using Docker & AKS
• Implement SRE principles ensure system health
• Eventually upskill new team members in a mentoring capacity

You Will Have Strong Experience With:

• Azure DevOps, using the full Azure tech stack, including…
• Provisioning IaC using Bicep (or Terraform with good Bicep knowledge)
• AKS & Docker for containerisation
• SaaS environments
• Start-Up environments

Bonus experience:

• Further expertise in Azure & Microsoft Office 365
• DataDog & Grafana
• Background in Software Engineering
