Senior Buyer
Location: Worcester (2 days a week in the office)
12 month FTC with the possibility of going permanent
Salary: £45,000 + flexible/remote working, pension contributions, annual training budget just for you & more!
My client, a leading Healthcare Company, is currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
They are the UK's largest providers of private healthcare with 39 hospitals and 33 clinics, medical centres and consulting rooms across England, Wales and Scotland. They also operate a network of private GPs and provide occupational health services to over 700 corporate clients.
As a Senior Buyer, you have an important role to play in ensuring that they are delivering best value for money, maintaining and improving quality and performance whilst ensuring regulatory compliance within a healthcare environment. You will work closely with key stakeholders to identify, develop and implement sourcing initiatives and drive supplier performance to deliver the sourcing plan.
We are looking for:
- Proven experience in a similar Procurement role
- Working towards MCIPS or MCIPS qualified preferred
- Ability to understand, articulate and lead the sourcing process
- Experience of developing and executing sourcing initiatives
- Ability to prioritise effectively, taking into account short and long-term needs of the business
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contractual terms and conditions and service level agreements
- Experience of healthcare sector is desirable but not essential
