SC Cleared Senior Engineer - Mechanical

📍 Location: Devonport, Plymouth (Hybrid - 1-2 days/month on-site)
📅 Duration: 12 months
💰 Rate: Up to £62 per hour Inside IR35

Our client, a global leader in engineering and infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead technical design packages for critical nuclear and process/plant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Lead & manage mechanical design projects
✔ Ensure compliance with safety, quality & budget standards
✔ Guide junior engineers & oversee documentation
✔ Support process/plant system development (piping, pumps, P&ID)

Requirements:

✅ Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Chartered or working towards)
✅ Experience in nuclear, marine, or safety-critical industries
✅ Strong skills in Mathcad, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, MS Office

Work on a high-impact, national defence project with a globally recognized engineering leader.
