iO Associates are proud to partner with an exciting scale-up company that are bringing Chemistry into the Modern era. After significant investments, they are expanding and looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Glasgow.

As the Senior Process Engineer, you'll be part of an interdisciplinary team covering areas such as hardware engineering, automation, chemical synthesis, industrial chemical, software development and more! You will improve the company's efficiency to maximise the value created by existing and future technology products and contribute to prioritising and guiding technology development.
Main responsibilities:

- Achieve substantial cost reductions, enhance product quality, and accelerate operational velocity through the integration of innovative solutions.
- Foster collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across Quality Assurance, Laboratory Operations, and Research Chemistry divisions to optimise day-to-day workflows and ensure seamless execution of multifaceted chemical synthesis endeavours.
- Contribute to the strategic formulation and long-term planning of initiatives, aimed at catalysing transformative performance improvements throughout the company.
You will need:
- BEng Hons or equivalent in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronic or related engineering or analytical disciplines
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing process engineering, with a track record of significant improvement in operation efficiency.
- Process-oriented mindset for documenting, teaching, implementing and refining complex technology-driven processes.
- Experience within a highly efficient manufacturing environment, with a keen eye for identifying improvement opportunities.
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Training in 6 Sigma, 5s or equivalent.
