iO associates have partnered with the organization that specializes in electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, aiming to revolutionize urban air mobility. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, they provide safe and efficient transportation solutions for urban areas.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager - Chief Engineering Office. This role will be part of the Program Management team which reports to the Head of Project Management - Integration and is responsible for the successful delivery of our aircraft programs.

Title: Senior Project Manager - Chief Engineering Office

Location: Munich Germany (Working on-site is required/ 1-2 days per week home office possible)

Duration: 12 Months (extensions possible)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Program Iteration process on behalf of the chief engineer you work with to establish, align, and record Project Objectives for the CE scope across the entire development cycle.
  • Be responsible for evaluating Project / Program impacts and communicating these with clear recommendations to the CE and Program.
  • Be consulted on technical decisions to ensure that Program implications and risks are considered and accounted for eg impact on industrialization, schedule, or cost

Requirements:

  • Practical experience in a range of Project Management methodologies including predictive Project Management (eg waterfall) and Agile Methodologies (eg SAFE, SCRUM) .
  • University degree in a technical field (eg Engineering) or experience in a technical aerospace environment in lieu.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn and adopt his/her style to a start-up environment; puts the team first; robust and passionate in following given objectives; uses failure as a learning experience.
