Senior Project Manager - Satellite Systems.

You'll oversee and deliver space projects, ensuring they meet objectives and contractual obligations. You will manage the project lifecycle, monitoring progress, coordinating with your team and subcontractors, and ensuring all project requirements-technical, schedule, and cost-are met. As the key contact, you will interact both internally and with customers, reporting to the Portfolio Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee delivery of space projects, ensuring they meet customer satisfaction, timelines, cost, and quality.
Develop, track, and manage project plans, schedules, risk registers, and financials.
Lead and align cross-functional teams and subcontractors to meet project goals and ensure effective execution.
Communicate project status and seek solutions for deviations from the baseline.
Manage project risks by identifying and implementing mitigation strategies.
Follow up with subcontractors to guarantee on-time, quality deliveries.
Cultivate strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers.
Ensure proper resource allocation and support team development.

Profile:

Master's degree in engineering or a scientific discipline, with 5+ years of project management experience, specifically in space projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budget, and resource management.
Effective communication and negotiation skills, with experience handling complex customer chains.
Problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented approach.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
