Senior SAP Ariba/BTP expert needed - Contract - Outside IR35

We are seeking a Senior SAP Ariba & BTP Specialist to drive procurement transformation by integrating SAP Ariba with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role involves optimizing procurement workflows, analytics, AI-driven automation, and system integrations between SAP Ariba, S/4HANA, and third-party systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong SAP Ariba expertise (Sourcing, Procurement, Contracts, Spend Analysis) and a deep understanding of SAP BTP capabilities (Integration Suite, AI, RPA, Analytics, and SAP Build).

Key Responsibilities

SAP Ariba & Procurement Transformation

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Ariba solutions (Buying & Invoicing, Supplier Management, Sourcing, and Contract Management).
Optimize procurement workflows using SAP BTP tools (automation, AI, and analytics).
Ensure seamless integration of Ariba with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and external systems via SAP BTP.

SAP BTP Integration & Development

Configure and manage SAP Integration Suite (CIG, API, Middleware) for smooth Ariba-SAP connectivity.
Use SAP AI and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) to automate procurement processes (e.g., invoice matching, contract validation).
Build custom procurement applications & dashboards using SAP Build and Fiori.

Data Analytics & Spend Intelligence

Implement SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud to provide real-time procurement insights.
Develop AI-powered analytics models for supplier risk assessment and cost optimization.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

Work closely with procurement, IT, and finance teams to align SAP Ariba & BTP solutions with business needs.
Provide training & support to ensure user adoption of new technologies.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, security, and data governance.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

✅ 5+ years of SAP Ariba experience, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
✅ Strong understanding of SAP BTP components (Integration Suite, AI, RPA, Analytics).
✅ Experience with SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) and APIs for Ariba-SAP integration.
✅ Hands-on experience in SAP Ariba modules (Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts, Spend Analysis).
✅ Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud for procurement analytics.

Soft Skills & Business Knowledge

✅ Strong stakeholder management skills-able to engage with procurement, IT, and finance teams.
✅ Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to optimize procurement workflows.
✅ Excellent communication & presentation skills to train end-users and guide project teams.
✅ Experience working in agile and waterfall project environments.
