Your Role

As a Senior Ultrasound Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing high-performance software for an advanced medical imaging platform. You will collaborate with a highly skilled, international team to design innovative solutions that enhance healthcare outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

✔ Ultrasound Software Development: Design and optimize high-throughput, low-latency ultrasound software for real-time signal and image processing.
✔ Hardware Integration: Interface with bespoke ultrasound hardware to ensure efficient data acquisition and processing.
✔ Algorithm Implementation: Develop and optimize image processing techniques for enhanced ultrasound imaging.
✔ Performance Optimization: Utilize HPC programming, CUDA, and GPGPU to maximize processing efficiency.
✔ Code Quality & Reviews: Maintain high software reliability with rigorous testing, peer reviews, and CI/CD best practices.
✔ Collaboration: Work closely with hardware and software teams to push the boundaries of medical imaging technology.
✔ Technology Stack: Utilize modern C++20, Python, CUDA, CMake, Git, CI pipelines, Jira, and ALM tools.

Your Profile

✅ Education & Experience: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Medical Imaging, or a related field, with 5+ years of industry experience.
✅ Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with deep understanding of ultrasound hardware and image processing.
✅ Bonus Skills: Experience with HPC programming, CUDA, classical image processing, and machine learning is a plus.
✅ Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with medical software development standards (ISO 62304) is an advantage.
✅ Problem-Solving Mindset: Hands-on, innovative approach to tackling complex imaging challenges.
✅ Team Player: Strong work ethic, startup mindset, and ability to mentor and collaborate.
✅ Communication: Excellent English skills; German is a plus.
