We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our clients experienced team on a CONTRACT or PERMANENT basis, contributing to a key public sector software deployment of national significance. You'll support the development, integration, rollout, and ongoing support of complex solutions, working both from home and on client sites, particularly in Milton Keynes so this role will require the candidate to hold a full UK drivers license and ACTIVE security clearance due to the nature of the projects. My client is offering a salary of up £60,000 plus excellent benefits for the right candidate.
As part of the team, you'll collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders so requires excellent communication skills to ensure you can deliver innovative solutions that make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to full-stack software development, integration, and support.
- Assist with the design and maintenance of secure, client-focused solutions.
- Manage deployed software systems, both internally and for clients.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and apply new technologies to solve challenges.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Expertise in full-stack development (React, Java, Python), API design, and Linux/Microsoft environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Agile/DevOps experience and proficiency in software virtualisation (Docker).
