iO Associates is currently partnered with a globally operating automotive client and a reliable partner to all renowned automotive manufacturers.

They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Systems Engineering Manager to steer their Systems and Simulation department towards success.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Physics, Computer Science, Theoretical Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading and motivating teams, preferably in an industrial setting
• Strong experience in:
  • Numerical simulation, algorithm development, and/or machine learning,
  • Or experience with actuators or doors in the automotive industry.
• Excellent programming skills in C++, MATLAB, and/or Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of 12 professionals in the Systems and Simulation group.
• Drive the strategic and technical direction of the group, focusing on cutting-edge simulation technologies.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
• Engage in interdisciplinary cooperation with adjacent departments and external partners.
