AIT Engineer (m/f/d)

A leading European space company with over 40 years of experience and a strong presence in Bremen is seeking a skilled AIT EGSE Engineer (m/f/d) to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to pivotal European space programs, working on cutting-edge space missions.

About the Role:

As an Electrical Engineer within the EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) department, you will play a crucial role in supporting satellite testing activities. Working with test equipment for various subsystems, you will have the opportunity to interact with multiple aspects of satellite development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the test team during satellite testing activities.
  • Prepare, configure, and provide test equipment.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to test equipment.
  • Participate in environmental tests and launch campaigns.
  • Maintain, refurbish, and upgrade test equipment.
  • Prepare and review requirement documents.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for suppliers.
  • Develop test scripts.
  • Manage documentation and assets.
  • Design, develop, procure, accept, and integrate EGSE.

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in testing at the unit, subsystem, or satellite level.
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical manuals, data reports, mechanical schematics, electrical schematics, and design specifications.
  • Experience with Python or CCS systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Sense of responsibility and a proactive work style.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel.
