Job Title: Application Engineer

iO Associates are working with a Health Tech organisation that provides innovative software solutions for healthcare organisations, specialising in improving clinical workflows and collaboration by integrating disparate healthcare IT systems.

We're looking for an Application Engineer to strengthen and improve application processes, ensuring systems remain reliable, secure, and scalable. In this position, you will oversee web-based systems, resolve complex technical challenges, and work alongside various teams to provide a smooth and efficient experience for end-users.

Skills:

  • Experience supporting medium-to-large web-hosted systems, including internet-facing and large intranet applications with a focus on IIS and Windows Server
  • Skilled in interpreting and analysing system logs and proficient in deciphering HTTP status codes
  • Knowledgeable in using cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experienced with monitoring and scheduling tools, including but not limited to Hangfire, cron jobs, or similar applications
  • In-depth understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP protocols
  • Ability to perform SQL operations, including CRUD and maintenance tasks
  • Proficient in using scripting languages such as PowerShell and BASH
  • Basic knowledge of coding in HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen ability to address critical issues in complex systems
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team
