Automation Engineer
Permanent position
Onsite in Aachen, Germany
iO associates are partnering with a specialist materials & machinery manufacturer who are looking for an Automation Engineer to work at their headquarters in Aachen. You will take responsibility for development and continuous improvement of automation software.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of software development; TwinCAT3, HMI Eng, WinCC, or TIA Portal is preferred.
- Strong background in automation technology with Beckhoff and/or Siemens.
- High proficiency in PLC programming.
- B2 German minimum.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of automation technology for motion control and machine processes.
- Overseeing automation system commissioning at customer site in Germany, and delivering training to customers.
