Business Development Manager - Charging Solutions
iO Associates is partnered with a leading provider of innovative solutions for the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging industry, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our client's business in the electric vehicle charging systems market.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5-7 years of technical sales experience with Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions or Battery Energy Storage solutions
- Excellent understanding of the sales, business development, and account management processes
- Technical knowledge of Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions, Power Conditioning Systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Strong legal understanding of contracts and the ability to negotiate
- Fluency in English and German
Responsibilities:
- Analyse the development and understand the nature of the Electric Vehicle Charging Systems market ecosystem
- Construct, in accordance with your analysis, business development strategies and sales plans
- Identify and report business opportunities in the targeted segments: EV OEM, Utility, Charging Point Operator
- Develop strong relationships with key customers by acting as an account manager
- Coordinate and manage technical and commercial bid preparation
- Negotiate contracts and ensure legal compliance
- Manage pipeline projects and ensure their successful execution
- Achieve sales targets and revenue as defined by the business leadership
- Represent our client during conferences, trade shows, and industry networking events in Germany
- Interact with management across our client's organization
