Job Description:

A close client of mine (who are one of the Police Forces) is looking for a "Business Systems Development Manager" to come in and help manage their own built system. You'll be managing a team of 8/9 developers and be tasked with helping improve overall practices by implementing new ways of working. One of the main tasks will be pulling out data from their own-built system and breaking down tasks into sprints to help improve overall operations and become more efficient.

They're using DevOps to a basic level, ideally wanting someone to break it down into sprints and amend the ways of their working

Role Requirements:

Able to hit the ground running (this is a replacement for someone going into retirement)
Strong understanding of development frameworks
Proficient in managing a team of developers
Background in web applications such as .NET & ASP.NET
Able to set objectives, distribute tasks, and communicate to a technical high standard
Track-record of improving ways of working and putting new practices in play
PeopleSoft experience would be desirable (not essential)
Worked in an agile environment
Strong experience with SQL and handling data
Have held security clearances in the past (SC or NPPV3 as you'll need to go back through it if it's lapsed)

We are able to put you through clearance as this is mandatory to work on the project

This role will be Outside IR35, near enough remote with the occasional trip to the office for workshops. This role is paying between £300.00 - £350.00 pd
