C++ QML Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented C++ Software Engineer with a strong C++ and QML background to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical software applications in the Medical industry.

This is very much a full life cycle role, at the very start of this project.

Role: C++/QML Developer

Contract: Outside IR35

Duration: 3-6 months

Location: Remote

Rate: up to £55 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and test desktop software applications using C++ and QML.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, user guides, and test plans.
• Design and execute comprehensive software tests, encompassing unit, integration, and regression testing.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years (or 3 years with Master's degree) of software engineering experience in a regulated industry.
• Expert proficiency in C++ programming and a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing user interfaces using the Qt framework.
• Strong knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Desired Skills:

• Experience transferring designs from Figma or similar tools to QML.
