Join this team as they embark on an exciting journey to transform our core banking solution into the Azure Cloud. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you'll be at the forefront of this groundbreaking project, leading the technical management of a complex, distributed application landscape from on-premises to the Azure Cloud.
What You'll Do
- Lead: Oversee the step-by-step migration, including porting existing applications and developing or integrating third-party solutions.
- Design: Architect and develop our future cloud architecture, converting existing JEE Java applications into cloud-native or other suitable containerized solutions.
- Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with DevOps and operations teams to ensure a seamless and efficient cloud migration.
- Innovate: Support the selection and implementation of new technologies and platforms to ensure long-term scalability and flexibility.
What You Bring
- Expertise: Solid experience in the architecture and modernization of complex application landscapes, ideally in the financial sector.
- Azure: In-depth knowledge of the Azure Cloud, especially in designing and constructing cloud infrastructures for enterprise applications.
- Java: Extensive experience in developing Java-based applications, particularly with JEE, Spring Boot, WebLogic Server, and Oracle databases.
- Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and lead teams through challenging migration and transformation projects.
- Agility: An agile, solution-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Language: German fluency and English fluency.
