iO Associates is seeking a Data Architect to work with a company with a solid track record of delivering managed services, products, consulting, and research and development, a top-tier engineering and technology business that serves clients all over the world.
We are seeking a Data Architect who will be responsible for the strategy, architecture and high level design of data intensive solutions, and will also support Client Managers directly in a pre-sales capacity to develop
relationships and solutions that can support future business growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:-
- Assist Defence clients in formulating their data as a strategic asset strategy and identifying the proper procedures and degree of governance.
- Explain the data strategy to both technical specialists and non-technical stakeholders.
- Specify and design the architecture for analytics and data software solutions, either as stand-alone projects or as part of a bigger, multidisciplinary program.
- Assist in the development of high-level technical needs and client relationships by supporting the Sales and Campaign functions.
- Represent client's and its technical solutions and capabilities toward client communities.
- Offer junior team members coaching and technical direction.
- Adhering to the policies and procedures of the customer.
Skill:-
- Knowledge of data architecture and data strategy in the context of the UK military or other public sector.
- A solid grasp of both organized and unstructured data, as well as the methods required to utilize them in various contexts.
- Proven track record of collaborating with software and data engineers to develop solutions for challenging data issues.
- Working knowledge of an Agile Framework
- Understanding that working with cloud solutions differs from dealing with typically hosted systems in terms of the methodologies needed.
- Experience collaborating on intricate technical bids and engaging in business development.
Note: We need you to be eligible for DV clearance due to the nature of this employment. You must therefore be a citizen of the UK and have lived there for the past ten years.
