Product Description:
As a Senior Test Analyst, you will have the chance to work closely with a diverse range of clients on impactful projects. IO Associates are partnering with a specialist SME in the Defence sector, known for its advanced expertise in IT Systems Integration. This SME excels in designing, building, and managing bespoke, complex, mission-critical systems that ensure client safety and security. They are at the forefront of innovation, leveraging both established and emerging technologies, agile methodologies, and deep expertise across space, defence, intelligence, aerospace, and maritime sectors, all supported by robust cyber capabilities. Their collaborative approach involves working with global technology firms, pioneering SMEs, and academic institutions to deliver optimal solutions for each client.


Please note that due to the sensitive nature of the programme, you must have or be eligible for the highest level of UK Security Clearance (DV). The role requires full-time attendance at our Basingstoke office, five days a week.


Your Future and Responsibilities:
In your role as a Senior Test Analyst, you will collaborate with various Agile development teams to design, develop, and execute tests using advanced tools and methodologies. Working with a defence-focused SME, you will apply your extensive knowledge of modern software and application development to ensure high-quality results. This senior position requires strong teamwork and communication skills as you will coordinate closely with Infrastructure, Development, and Project Management teams.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting manual tests and utilising approved project tools.
  • Analysing test results and performing initial investigations into any issues.
  • Logging defects and overseeing their resolution.
  • Participating in Agile team meetings and events.


Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in a testing role
  • Proficiency with Continuous Integration tools
  • Expertise in designing and executing both automated and manual tests
  • Experience with test management tools, such as ALM or Testrail
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification
  • Knowledge of SAFe and Agile methodologies
  • Strong problem investigation and analytical skills
