Electrical Design Engineer - Avionics, ECS and Cabin Sytems

iO Associates is currently partnered with a leading aerospace MRO company that is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Engineer.

In this role, you will focus on developing innovative designs for cabin and avionics systems. You will support management by contributing to the design of various systems, including ECS (or environmental control systems such as air-conditioning, heating, humidification), in-flight entertainment and cabin management, and communication networks (telephony, GSM, LAN/WLAN).

Requirements:

A degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or similar) is essential; aviation and design engineering experience are assets.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with avionics design or electrical systems engineering within the aerospace industry
Strong communication skills in English; German and/or French are advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Design systems for satellite communication, high-speed data transfer, and satellite TV.
Develop power generation, supply, and distribution solutions for galleys, seating, interior doors, and lighting systems.
Design and test ECS, smoke detection and oxygen systems for passengers, as well as cabin and emergency lighting systems.
