Electrical Technician

Location: Aachen
Salary range: €35,000 to €42,000 per year

iO associates are proud to be partnered with FibreCoat, a specialist materials scale-up company who are currently looking for Electrical Technicians (or Maintenance Engineers with an electrical bias).

The ideal Electrical Technicians will be responsible for maintenance, assembly, and support of industrial production lines. This is a hands-on role, focusing on practical electrical engineering tasks, with scope for progression into leadership positions within a dynamic and growing company.

Requirements

Apprenticeship or Degree (Bachelor's) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Practical, hands-on experience is essential.
Experience in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
Fluent English is required, with German language skills being highly beneficial.
Flexibility to travel for extended periods and provide technical support at various locations.

Responsibilities:

Assembly & Maintenance:
- Build, integrate, and assemble production lines, including switch cabinets.
- Transition completed lines into the maintenance phase.
Industrial Support:
- Provide on-site support for production lines, ensuring smooth operation.
- Travelling to new production lines to support operator training.
Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel for extended periods (up to 3 months at a time or as urgently required) to support production lines at various locations.
Leadership Opportunities:
- Potential for progression into holding leadership responsibilities depending on performance.
